There was always
something bigger.
UrbanGist began as a music blog. But the more we watched artists struggle to get heard and music lovers struggle to find what was next, the harder it became to see UrbanGist as just another music website.
So we stepped back. We rethought the product, the community and the business model — and started building toward an ecosystem that can grow with the people inside it.
